I haven't gotten to handle one yet, but that price is very tempting. Next trip to Academy, I hope they have some in stock.

I just saw them advertised for less...let me look

Nope...that's probably the best price ...RK sold out of the silver colored ones already.

(oh...don't forget to show us the pics! )

A LGS near where I live had them at that price last weekend for their "Ruger Days" sale.

If they come with the standard of quality Ruger firearms come with, hmmm.
Let's see if there is any more room in the gun safe.

It's Ceracote and you live in the desert. Probably wouldn't rust in two lifetimes. That reminds me. My Rough Rider has the removable cylinder...I could just put the cylinders in the lockup and leave the frame out to make room for just one more gun!

I paid $199.99 for mine because RK was sold out of the silver one I wanted. Told myself it was worth the extra $20 to get what I wanted. I compromise most of the time because very few things are so exact that I can not compromise. Firearms .......I look for a good deal most of the time unless it is like this situation of me really wanting only the silver.

I wanted to get one thru my LGS too, buy no word on when they will get any. I have been on the "Notify me when....." list on just about every site online when I got thru to get mine.
