Pretty sure the RRs have had adjustable sights for a while; the Wrangler has a barrel fixed front blade and nice rear notch on the backstrap that IS innovative for fixed sight SAs.

Man, I really want one of these but I also want a TX22. I suppose since I'm feeling conflicted I'll just have to get both.

One thing I would be very interested to know is where any of the parts between the Rough Rider and Wrangler are interchangeable, namely the cylinder.

I would be amazed if this were so.

“Historically, freedom is a rare and fragile thing . . . Freedom has cost the blood of millions in obscure places and in historic sites ranging from Gettysburg to the Gulag Archipelago . . .That something that cost so much in human lives should be surrendered piecemeal in exchange for visions and rhetoric seems grotesque. Freedom is not simply the right of intellectuals to circulate their merchandise. It is, above all, the right of ordinary people to find elbow room for themselves and a refuge from the rampaging presumptions of their ‘betters’.” Thomas Sowell

When I get my new Rough Rider from Taurus I will check that. I imagine the timing will not interchange between the two. I was hoping the grips would but I see they will not from pictures.

Being the two revolvers are completely different animals, I'd be very surprised to find any parts interchangeable.

I have to hold off for a 5 1/2" or longer barrel.

Heck, I wonder if the Wrangler will take the 22 WMR cylinder from Single Sixes. They make a huge deal of how they built the wranglers using the Single Six tooling and machines instead of starting over.

My Rough Rider and Wrangler are not close to being able to switch the cylinders. The Rough Rider is going to be my .22 Mag revolver and the Wrangler my .22lr range toy.
