If you're ready for a Glock now, I say go for it. I bought my first in January, just because I had never owned one. I shot a few and liked them, so I bought a new G19 gen 4. Love the thing, and already considering another in .40 or .45. I own and shoot both of these calibers and like them a lot. The G19 is the only 9mm I own.

    I'd ask for $400.

It would take at least that much to convince me to take the gun off of his hands.

Seriously, the price is right. Not a big steal or anything but you ain't getting ripped off either. You're man grown and have a mind of your own.

    Besides, it's your leg!

Yeah, but as a result, I ended up with a GREAT pickup truck! Definitely worth the scuff marks on the shoes. Besides, I really, really don't like buyer's remorse.

If I'm not mistaken, the 23 will use the same holsters as the 19.

Too bad Chevy doesn't make guns.

The G23 (.40 version of the G19) would be my primary concealed carry. I already own a TCP for extreme concealed carry when needed. Why Glock? Because I want one.

    Fair price? Should I, or shouldn't I?
    Interesting.

I noticed a Gen 3 Glock 23 at a local FFL's yesterday. "Pre-owned", obviously. $350 is what he had on it. I'm very tempted to go back and see if he'll take $300.

It would compliment my Gen 3 Glock 19.

I'm fine with shooting .40. I would probably end up with a Lone Wolf barrel, for shooting cast lead.

Why Glock? Because I want one.
Consider getting a "Striker Control Device". A good holster is an absolute must. Beyond that, don't do any mods until you've shot a bunch through it. Most "Internet Approved!" gadgets or changes I've tried I've taken back off.

I think Glock is the Chevy of guns as they seem to be reliable, affordable and available.
