    Cobra Arms .38 special Derringe

I just picked it up a few days ago. Just something to add to the vault, nothing special. Havn't shot it yet. It just looked good for the price $100.

For $100 it's hard to argue.

About 18 years ago I bought a new Davis two-shot derringer chambered in .32 auto for $60.00.

In today's economy, $100.00 is a good price for one of the little guns.

I'd stoke it with wadcutters, nothing even close to +P. If it's like the .22s, it'll get loose with use, but it'll still shoot. Whether you can hit anything with it, well, that's another story. LOL

Belly gun...stick it into their belly and pull the trigger. Friend of mine bought one about a year ago and the ejector came off.

Re: Cobra Arms .38 special Derringe

Bought one about a year ago to load with birdshot as a snake gun when I'm hunting. I load it with plated wadcutters and keep it in the glove box of the truck the rest of the year. My wife has the 22 mag that had to go back to Cobra, but they did the repair quickly and paid shipping both ways. Works like a charm now. To me, its a viable option as a tuck-it-in-your-pocket-for-a-quick-errand kind of gun, at a price a lot lower than the .380's. Mike, can you tell me about that holster? I'm wanting one for mine.

Jake, tell your friend to call Cobra about that thing. I bet they'll fix it.

It came with it. I might sell or trade the holster.

derringers are interesting but difficult to hit anything with.
