    FN pistols unsafe?

It doesn't look good for FN and their S model pistol. I know this is just 1 video but it seems to be pretty easy to get this gun to fire without pulling the trigger.

    FNS recall!

    https://foxbaltimore.com/features/op...police-weapons

Watch video at top of page....Here is the "service bulletin"

    https://fnamerica.com/customer-suppo...vice-bulletin/

Mine was affected and is going back... And this was the pistol I got to replace the OSS!!
This is the fourth striker-fired gun I have had to send back... Sig P320, Canik TP9SF, Taurus OSS and now FN FNS!!
I may just stick with hammer-fired pistols...they are my preference anyway!!

I checked my serial number of FNS pistols and 3 out of 3 are affected. After searching your serial number it links you over to a page to register your firearm. This requires you to also enter your date of purchase and the purchase price or it will not allow you to register the firearm.
Since I don't have this information I sent a email to the link provided. I guess I'll see how much attention to the word service in Customer Service is extended.

So I just found this posting and am glad I did I checked my FNS9 and it is included in the service bulletin. Tried to go to next screen to register the firearm but says I have to wait on an administrator to approve my joining the service forum.

Offhand, I'd say don't hit your pistol with a mallet.

FN America Has Problem With LE Firearm issues - ND

I guess that Taurus isn't the only one with issues. Certain to be lawsuits on this I think.

If I'm reading this right it seems they are upset with the gun for going off while it's being cleaned but they have no problem with the police officer who was cleaning a loaded gun? They call it an accident...
