Yep...everything I have ever read in operating instructions and even YouTube videos on gun cleaning and repair always starts out with "remove the magazine and check the chamber to insure that the firearm is unloaded"....

Then there's this quote from the article..."An officer was taking apart his gun when it discharged, wounding the officer. Baltimore County continues to investigate the discharge."

The first part of that investigation should be the intelligence of that officer...IMO

I registered mine and created a case...still waiting on the shipping label. How long did that take for you?

Lesson is it can happen to any firearm manufacturer...............
There are "four boxes" that can be employed to resist the downfall of America, the ballot box, the soap box, the jury box and, lastly, the ammo box.

That is correct. My problem lies with how the manufacturer handles the situation. CS and turnaround time is key.

What kind of a shipping label did you recieve? I got a email telling me to box up each firearm and magazines unloaded and attach the mailing label to the box.
The so called shipping label simply has their name and address. No directions as to shipping carrier. No information as to who is paying the shipping costs.

I would hope that they don't expect firearm owners to pay for shipping so that they can repair a liability issue.
