Just bought one of these today!! Can't wait to shoot it. The gun shop owner I spoke with said he has owned all three GEN guns and said the GEN3 that is out is the most flawless he has shot, he also commented that the trigger is one of the best OFTB triggers he has likely encountered. And not having to purchase another $25-35 magazine for this is a huge plus. He had 10 in stock, have no idea how he got that many, he has one left now. You see them on GUNBroker from the high to mid $400 and even low $500 range but that is for the GEN2 or older you can tell by the split sight at the front. If there is no break in the front sight it is older.

I must have one of the newer models. My trigger is sweet. I haven't had any trouble with any ammo. I was only able to find honady 30grain and the gun has performed flawless. I am climbing past 300 rounds. Super happy

I've heard those complaints, too. I never really wanted one anyway, but if I did, I wouldn't let the jam reports stop me. First place, I don't trust the people that give those reports. Kel Tec (I have a P11) has lots of irrational haters, sorta like Taurus. But, also, KT has GREAT CS and a fantastic warranty. My P11 is 20 years old, now. Broke an extractor once and KT had one in my mail box in a couple of days free of charge.

BTW, I carry my five shot NAA Black Widow .22 mag once in a while when I need deep concealment. .22 mag has lots of penetration and, if you can find it, Hornady CD is good stuff.

The Hornady CD is 45grn and for the PMR30 is considered a "hot round". They recommend the CCI or Golddots or something of that 30-40grn nature. I am getting mixed reviews on the Winchester brand, the booklet indicates no for some reason along with Armscor but I see others indicating they use these brands with no issues, I am going to stick to the Maxi-Mag and Gold~Dot for break-in then try other brands.

I had some failures to fire in my NAA with Gold Dot, but it's the gun's light hammer I'm sure. Works great with the Hornady. Both are accurate to the max in the gun.

I doubt at pistol velocities you get much expansion from maxi mag. I know it expands out of a rifle, though, left a nice exit wound in the Turkey I shot in April spring turkey season. It is also accurate in my little revolver.

Sweet! I held one once, but didn't like the way it felt in the hand. The capacity is cool though.

Very interesting pistols! Congratulations to both of you, and please keep us informed!

Reliability questions come alone with rimmed rounds in semiauto. That's why .25ACP exists; to replicate the ballistics of a .22 in a rimless round.

I have therefore started development of what I plan to call the 6.5Auto, a round that matches or exceeds the ballistics of a 22 magnum in a rimless, reloadable case. I expect to achieve about 750 ft# at the muzzle with a 56 grain bullet. I plan on hunting bear with it.
