    Ar15 platform Lube?

Just finished putting together my first Ar15, was looking online for the proper lube to use on it and have been flooded by so many different kinds from oil to grease. From much reading was thinking of using
Super Tech Multi-Duty Complex Hi-Temp Grease

what do you guys and gals use on your Ar platform to lube and keep it in good running order?

    Thanks in advance

Buddy, I'm old school. When in the Marines, we used CLP for all of our weapons. I know their maybe some "high tech" stuff out there by these days, but CLP has always worked for me. I just like to keep it simple.

Whatever is cheap works well. I use Eezox. The AR was designed to be reliable under combat conditions. It is.

My brother-in-law, a Marine, said that they kept CLP by the barrel full. Literally. That's probably all you really need for AR maintenance. I do use Ballistol though on the bolt and most of the internals.

Do you recommend running it on the heavy side of lube or dryer? Have had a few friends tell me to run it wet for the first few hundred rounds. Shot my first 90 rounds and my wife shot 30 . Was shooting half blind because my glasses were fogged up and aiming at the black blob down range at 20 yrds at the indoor range ( max distance) and it was shooting fist size holes with the blury target This is my first ar experience but its definitely addicting lol and my rear sight is not tighted in at all so was just using the front sight
