    It does say MSR though scrolling down I didnt see nothing AK.

    I'd almost say it could fit in this category although they're not as highly available and not near as many after market parts and accessories available.

    The intent was AR-pattern rifles. There's a lot more discussion of those than AKs. AK discussions belong in the Other Long Arms.

    well the "47" part of AK47 would suggest they are only a bit more modern than an M1 Garand
