I would have made the same choice as Old Fart, since I'm one too, and have in the past been put in similar quandary.

I have a G2C that I have had since December 2018 with just shy of 2000 rounds it has been flawless, so much so that I now carry it and shoot it very little since I know I can trust it. I have a Ruger Security 9 that has less than 100 rounds, it had a magazine issue but it has been cleared up. I just don't carry it as well so it stays in the safe. I have decided to keep the G2C and sell the Ruger if it comes to it. so did I decide the way you would? thanks.
Which one? You won't get much used for either, but probably the Ruger will garner a tad more. Both easily replaced.

Many of us have been in similar situations, coming from experience material items mean nothing in the end and can 9/10 times be replaced handle your business. G2 stays👍

The balance is in favor of selling the Ruger in two ways - the Taurus is well proven in your hands and the Ruger will bring a few more dollars most likely. I would go this way, and I hope things improve for you and your family.

Keeping the one that is reliable was the way to go and you did. The one that works best for you and your needs is always the way to go. Kudos to you.

Yup, the Security 9 would have been gone.
