My guess would be an overcharged round or a squib.. Check the barrel for the round.

Freedom Munitions I see has filed chap 11, but still seem to be open. I have shot their ammo in 9mm and 380. The 9 worked good, but my Bersa and Kahr pistols stumbled on the 380. I could not shoot it.

Lately I have been shooting Geco in 380 and S&B in 9mm.....cleanest most reliable cycling ammo I have seen. I will continue to use it as long as I can find it online and the price is doable. My SD ammo is Rem HTP in both 380 and 9mm....they work good in my guns. I got a deal on both a couple years back. I'll probably switch to Gold Dots when ever this Rem HTP runs out.
Yeah I mixed that one up bad, lol. For me the munitions one worked out fine for 9 .38 and .40 no issues.

Geco I never knew existed until I got a gun broker account. It seems cheap if you can find a day nobody is bidding aggressively on it. Most my guns aren't super picky unless I try to run the USA Forged ammo harvested from the cargo hold of the Titanic. I don't count the SR22 as it's still breaking in and prefers CCI and Agula over the other ammo.

My SD ammo differs between guns. Most my 9's except the G2 and my .45 run +P critical duty. G2 was V crown since it feeds the most reliably but gonna switch back to HST.

Glad she wasn't seriously hurt! I hope this doesn't end up being a flaw with the G2S, as I just jumped back into the Taurus fold with a G2S myself.
