    Class action settlement options (Millennium)?

Hi all! I have a PT 145. I just reviewed the proposed class action settlement options and have a few questions:

Per the FAQ's - "Certain calibers of the Class Pistol models are not available in Taurus G2 model pistols. You can review the calibers currently available in Taurus G2 model pistols at http://www.taurususa.com/pistols.cfm"

So, will the PT 24/7 be a replacement option for PT 145 owners who want to stay with a 45 cal?

I really don't want a replacement that has a larger overall size than the PT 145. Would a Millennium G2 9mm Compact be a replacement option for the PT 145?

Has any options been discussed for an "upgrade" to stainless over blue if the owner pays the incremental cost? For that matter, I wonder if a PT 738 could be a "downgrade" replacement option. If possible, I'm sure there would be "no refund" of the price difference between the pistols. My 2 cents - providing options might help Taurus fill orders more quickly.

    Thank you!

I wouldn't consider replacing it with a PT111 G2 .. Even though its a fine pistol ,,, they can be purchased for 200.00 shipped ..

Agreed! If concerned with overall size, request the 24/7 compact. Or if your gun functions properly and you enjoy it, just keep your 145 and forget about the settlement.

Personally I wouldn't keep it. There's valid reasons to remove that gun from your ownership, inside that recall document. I would accept the biggest and largest caliber possible. I wouldn't stutter nor blink in making my decision. This should be an easy transaction.

To keep or to replace .. Thats your decision... But down the road .. and decide to sell or trade .. You will not get much out of it .. Personally i wouldn't sell or trade it to a individual ..

I would not send mine in now. I'll just wait until all the dust has settled and see what the landscape looks like. If I could get a 24/7 compact for mine right now, I'd go that route. I have one PT111G2. Don't need another one, and don't want a .40.

    Don't know why. It's a fine pistol!

The .45acp 24/7 G2 Compact is very similar to the PT-145. I did a comparison of the 2. Hope it helps: https://www.taurusarmed.net/forums/mi...2-compact.html
