    +1 on the above but a variation. Cotton tipped applicators, think one sided Q-tip 6" long with a wood stem. Buy them by the 1000. The non-sterile ones are the best deal, 10 packs of 100 in a box....

    I don't clean 'em. When they start to malfunction, I just throw 'em away and buy a new one. That's why I shoot plastic guns like Glock. :D
