I like the cross draw holsters when I'm carrying a rifle or shotgun afield, it keeps me from banging my long guns stock against my hand gun.

I generally prefer a shoulder holster and so cross draw. It works better than any other mode when sitting and it seems that is a pretty common state.

The only time I used a cross draw was when I wore two handguns. It worked better for the second gun and done with revolvers or derringer. When I switched over to 9mm double stacks I quit. Also...

A pretty versatile holster that can be used cross-draw is the Vedder LightTuck. It's adjustable vertically and forward or backward cant. https://www.vedderholsters.com/lighttuck/

I carry crossdraw because of shoulder damage. I use Serpa holster adjusted so the barrel is about 35 or 40 degrees from horizontal.

Crossdraw is for driving. It's the best carry mode for when you're seated behind a steering wheel. I've really started liking vertical holsters lately because with a vertical holster, you can use...

I've been carrying crossdraw quite a bit lately. Largely due to the fact that its easier to put my holster on in my truck, than at the 4 o'clock position. I need to look into a canted holster for...
