I guess I'm going to be That Guy. While I admire your ingenuity, that frame is Zamac and drilling it introduces weak points in the top strap. It's probably more of a concern with .22 mag, but I'd...

I'm gonna go ahead and disagree with you fellas about that safety. I like it, and if the gun were of higher quality I would sell my Ruger and buy a similar HRR. Ever since I sent a 22 bullet through...

Well, if somebody did that to a Colt SA Army, or even a Cimarron, I'd be gritting my teeth and muttering unkind things. But it's a Rough Rider, so GOOD JOB!

I have a Rough Rider also and the sights are awefull, It dosen't shoot to the aiming point of the fixed sights so at 25 yards it's over a foot off. It seems to me the authors revolver is now usefull...

I can't decide if that's old school / new school or vice versa! At any rate, you seem to have had a lot of fun during your "spot of free time!"

This is the kind of thing that buying a cheap gun makes you attempt or do. I've never really modified a gun before I got my first PT111 G2, but I've put sights on, etc, because it's not the end of...
