    Ended up doing something like that. Adjusted the sight as high as it would go, then stuck a piece of plastic cut from a yogurt container lid in the crack underneath to keep it from adjusting itself...

    Hogues are what you can get. If you can find the Uncle Mike's checkered rubber grips, get them. Very nice. As always, IMHO & YMMV.

    One of the safest takedown procedures out there. Slide must be racked, magazine out, and the hammer is never dropped when disassembling the gun. Magazines are still out there.
