Welcome from Chicago _ just me, but before I agreed to the 605 replacement, I did visit the Taurus website to see what a 605 was. I am very pleased with the revolver, or I wouldn't have agreed to...

Why do I keep conjuring up the image of a fishing lure being dragged behind a slowing moving row boat when I see posts like the above?

Been reloading for about 12 years - I started out late in life at 59- lol NO - I've never made the effort required to prove the vendors wrong over a few pennies worth of lead, copper or brass....

The FIRST thing I did after supplying Taurus with my FFL of choice for my recall replacement was personally call said FFL and provide them ALL my contact info - name, e-mail, home phone, cell phone...

Czechbikr liked post by RandyP On thread : "Not a range gun"
Had my new 605 (Rossi recall replacement gun) out to the range last week. As others have ably posted my snubbie came out of the box a terribly inaccurate thing, but the more boxes of ammo I feed it,...

And IF it IS actually a 461 (like mine was) it may be covered under the notoriously slow process of their Safety Recall and replacement with a Taurus of specific serial number ranges. ...

I hope someday to win the lottery and have enough $$$ to buy enough ammo to actually wear out any firearm. Of course at that point I'd still have enough $$$ left to simply just buy a new one? lol

I had a problem seeing the 85 myself, but that's cuz the pic is upside down. JUST KIDDING FOLKS! To the OP, EVERYONE was a newcomer to Taurus products the first time they had one. THANK YOU for...

I and a lot of other folks opt for .38 Special +P when carrying a snubbie .357. Mine is currently a Taurus 605, which I like quite a bit.

To the OP, there is NO ONE in the shooting sports who didn't start out as a first-timer. In the 60+ years I've had some sort of gun at my disposal I still learn new things all the time using the...

Bayou52 liked post by RandyP On thread : Why do people say Taurus revolvers suck?
In the not that distant past, Taurus 'earned' a bad reputation as a company with spotty customer/warranty service. IMHO that has changed mostly entirely and they are working diligently to turn past...
