I am sure people would like to see some pics rather than "shoots like a dream" lol

Hurry up man!!
it just got up to 36 degrees here at 9AM, you hurry up!!

i've had this gun for 8 months, i'm not in a big hurry for anything. and i did ask, what yardage? it is a short barrel, i'll do 7 yards. this is self defense, not long range target. but i am going to wait until it gets a bit warmer outside, at least 40

EDIT: i see you have a rossi, trade rossi pics, here's mine

Man, it MUST be nice to be able to go out and shoot on your own property any time you want. Sure would LOVE to be able to do that. :D :shooter: I have to go a half hour to shoot.

Don't mean to hijack this. Just stating a fact.

man, it's heaven. believe it or not, that's one of the reasons i opted for the big acreage plan instead of a huge house on a pissant lot. that and the fact that 2 people didn't need a huge house. that and the fact that i wanted to be out in the country, because i basically hate people. except for Rottie. and you guys. everybody else can kiss ol jony's ass.

We have a lot in common, but please stay on course, I really want to see what pt-111 are capable of at any yardage 7, 10, 35 whatever.

don't have access to my targets right now, but the very first time i shot my pt111 or any 9mm for that matter i put a full box of 50 blazer brass 115 gr down range at 10 yards or 30 feet with the following results:

10 ring: 16% of the time
9 ring : 42%
8 ring : 12%
7 ring : 14%
6 ring : 12%
off : 2% or 1 shot

i was proud enough for a first time handgun owner. This was the result of a two-handed hold with no rest. It's gotten a lot better since I've learned how to better hold the pistol. Hope this helps. My gun mentor - an FBI-trained weapons specialist and former S.W.A.T. officer is scheduled to qualify me with my weapon as I carry it at work as a Community Corrections Officer (think probation on steroids). Based on the targets I showed him he was impressed with the pistol. He stated that the holes lined up well along the body target we used - and that I could have probably qualified with the weapon that day. I was proud of how it shot. Hitting center mass almost 60% of the time at 30 feet is good enough for me to carry concealed. Like I said that number has gotten better so I trust my pt111 with my life. Hope you will too. :)

My 3rd generation PT111 Millennium Pro shoots to point of aim with 115 & 124 grainers.

From the bench it shoots a tad under 1 1/2" groups at 10 yards and a bit over 3" at 25 yards when I do my part.

For a gun designed for card table distance confrontations that ain't bad at all... :D

All I require is hitting COM, at from 7 to 10 yards. I am not a good enough shot with a snubby barreled gun to do much better than that.
I am happy with putting all rds in an 8.5" by 11" area that would be the center of chest.
Now with a gun with a 6 to 9" sight picture, I have been known to take the center out of the target, even if about 1" left of center at even longer distances.
