Interested in all things Taurus TX22

Have run more than a 1,000 rounds through my Taurus TX22 and really love it. Because it "operates" like a striker-fired 9mm and is so easy to clean, the TX22 has become a range day favorite. In fact, the TX22 has replaced my Walther PPQ M2 22lr Tactical on range day play time because it is easier to maintain. Really pleased that Taurus finally got some TX22 magazines in stock so I could add to the arsenal and not have to waste time re-loading while doing drills. Speaking of the magazines, I discovered TX22 loader that is much better than the OE loader at lakelinellc.com

I am looking for a recommendation on a green dot laser sight from fellow TX22 owners. Already have green dots on the Walther PPQ M2 22lr Tactical (TruGlo Micro Tac), M&P 9mm (Crimson Trace Rail Master), Walther PPQ M2 Navy SD 9mm (Streamlight laser/light combo), Sig Sauer P365 (Sig Lima) and M&P Shield 9mm (Crimson Trace). Since the TX22 picatinny is a bit different from the previously mentioned pistols, I was wondering if anyone had a good or bad experience with a particular brand. Right now Midway USA is running a special on a LaserMax Spartan green dot for less than $80. No experience with that brand.

Also looking for a OWB holster that will allow you to keep the suppressor thread protector on the TX22. (BTW: Why on earth wouldn't Taurus include a thread protector for the 1/2 X 28 thread adapter?)

    Welcome.

I wondered the same thing about the thread protector, but decided on the Tandemkross muzzle brake. Still looking at holsters myself.

Welcome, from the Rust Belt USA....
"Guns are a lot like parachutes ~ If you need one and don't have one, you'll probably never need one again".

The problems we face today are there because the people

Gun control is like trying to reduce drunk driving by making it tougher for sober people to own cars.
