    Hello everyone!

I do not know why it has taken me so long to find this forum as I have been inhabiting the Internet since 2003, but, I am glad to be here. I have been around shooting since a young age and have enjoyed it thoroughly ... even if I came in second or lower in a shooting contest. I have been associated with Taurus firearms since the mid 1980's when I acquired a PT-92. I seem to recall a steel frame where more current production is alloy framed. That PT-92 had many rounds put through it and was much more reliable than the Smith & Wesson automatics from the same time frame. Maybe I am just lucky, but, I have not experienced any malfunctions with any Taurus firearms that I have shot over the years. Not mine or those of friends at the range that have allowed me the pleasure of shooting theirs. A friend has a .38 special revolver and I am not sure of the model number. It is a full sized revolver much like the K or L framed Smith & Wessons'. It is truly a delight to fire and watch the nice round holes show up on the target with the wad cutter bullets.

With my 70th birthday closer than the 60th one in the rear view mirror with some luck I will be around here for a while and learn from you all and enjoy the conversations.

    Bill
