    hello from Iowa

Hay I have been looking around for a while, last year I bought a 40S&W 24/7ProLs for $430 out the door. Been a very good shooter, I can get 3" group at 10yrds. I've put about 500 rounds down the pipe so far. Tuesday I will be picking up a PT1911 in Stainless Steel with Bull's Head Walnut grips, $675 out the door.
I have found that for plinking the 40 likes federal 180gr in the red and black box. I have a mag loaded with Hornady 180gr TAP rounds for the house. I found that Hornady has a 230gr TAP for the 1911, but it's a +P round. Is that going to be OK for house load? I plan on plinking with Winchester 230gr FMJ.
