Any other Jeep lovers out there?

Howdy everyone. Saw a few new members having "Jeep" in the title of their names and it started me awonderin'.... Anybody else out there a Jeep lover? Happen to have a 2010 Black Sport JK that's my daily driver. As I say in my profile, love my Taurus 1911, good beer, and JEEPS!!!!!!!! Would love to hear from any other Jeepers out there, hear some tall tales, and maybe connect with other possible friends.

Best part of the Cherokees is that they have sooo many after market parts that you can pick up. Pretty much as long as the frame is in good shape, you can pretty well rebuild any of 'em.

I learned to drive a clutch in a CJ7. Always loved the tuxedo park, CJ8 scrambler and the older wagoneers.

I have a 95 Cherokee country 4.0 312,167miles. Great truck I'm pretty sure it will rust apart before it dies. Wish it was full framed. I have beat this truck to death and it asks for more.

Had two Jeep Libertys that were great! Like a little hot rod with the V6.

However, I also have a Jeep Patriot and I'd rather have a Ford Pinto. The Patriot is an awful driving car, stiff as a board, even the gas pedal is stiff. The competition spanks it in every catagory.

If I buy another Jeep I will be more careful on choosing the model.

The first car I bought for myself as a teenager was a '57 Willys CJ5. It had just been repainted as it had been used and abused in its former life. It also had wide tires on it and that was rare to see back then. I even had to get fender extensions on the Jeep to keep it legal. I rebuilt the 4 cyl 134 F Head engine in my mom's garage. I taught my girlfriend, now my wife, how to drive a stick in that Jeep, and we had a lot of good times including running out of gas on the way to a picnic. Turns out the fuel pump quit and I had to replace it. Had a u-joint go out too and I just dropped the rear drive shaft and drove it home in 4WD using the front shaft to turn the front wheels. Figured that one out on the side of the road waiting for mom to bring me my tool box. Front wheel drive, if you will. I loved that thing and someday I will get another.

I had CJ5s, CJ7s, YJs, TJs, Cherokees, Grand Cherokees, KK Liberty (still have), and a Commando with a 304 V8. Some day I would still like to find a full size Waggoneer and a J20 truck.

I'd love to have one of the old army models (full time 4WD) to turn into a mudder/crawler. They seem to handle the stresses better than just about anything else in the pits.
