Bamabowtie, first you have to find one and I had never seen one in my area until now. Then the owner needs to be someone who knows not what he has! I simply dropped in to a local pawn shop and there it was. They had it priced at $99.95 and I got it for $60.00. I can almost guaranty that will never happen again. I have found out that most of the models that I have sale anywhere from $100.00 to $250.00. If you find another deal like I got, please let us all know. Good Luck

Heck of a deal and nice haggling! I've seen a few on a dealers table at the local gun show, but they were full blown retail. I used to cruise the classifieds on Bladeforums but was never quick enough to snag the good deals. I want to find a model 15 "Boys knife". One day I will splurge and get one.

Tidioute is just up the road from me, about 15 miles and same with Titusville, home of Queen Cutlery. There used to be several notable knife mfgrs from this area and neighboring sw New York. There are prob'ly a lot of collectible knives still floating around. Pawn shops just became legal here a few years ago so they may start showing up occasionally. The only pawn in this tri-city area is near my garage, I'll have to drop off a card and tell him to call me if anything cool comes in. There are some locally made knives I'd had as a kid and lost that I'd really like to have again. There was a Bolivar folder, in particular that I'd had for about 20 years and had become quite attached to, before it came up missing......never quite got over that one.

Made it out to the City Trade Days in Bowie, TX this morning, but by noon it was already blistering hot. I did however get a good deal on a set of knives called Sailor Knives by Cannon, USA; a very very good knife by Colonial, Prov. R.I.; what I call a gentleman's dress knife and a pen knife both by Robeson. The last two I need to do some cleaning, but the others are in perfect display shape.

Not the greatest photo but all I have at the moment. My "Micro Sabre." I came up with the design myself fashioned after a few other blade and handle designs I liked. I then had a local blade smith fab it up for me. It is made for up close work and making room so one can get to their firearm. Made to filet an opponent with draw cuts or forward cuts, top or bottom of the blade.

Ended up going to town for a few things and stopped by one of my routine antique dealers. All I found today was this nice CASE Trapper.
