My most loved state is the state of elation! (like how you feel when your grand children learn to shoot)

My most hated state is the state of despair. (like how you feel when you realize that there isn't any toilet paper on the roll .................. after the fact.)

My most common state is the state of confusion? (like ...... DUH?)

The list of most hated states seems to be pretty reasonable, at least for the first three. California, Illinois, and New Jersey are all places that I could just as soon do without. But Mississippi and Utah? What did they do to tick people off?

I would have dumped Hawaii from favorable to unfavorable, and put Arizona in it's place.
I also would have replaced Utah with New York in unfavorable.

Strictly going by how pro or anti gun they are.

The list isn't too surprising I suppose. I did think that maybe Texas would have been on there because it seems to be the most loved state as rated by its inhabitants!

The interesting thing and again predictable, is how the states are viewed along party and racial lines.

Yes folks, we do live in two, maybe three, separate worlds and no matter how hard we try, we’ll never view this country in the same way as others do, especially the left.

That's because most people haven't been to Hawaii, so they just have a romantic vision of it as "Paradise". It's actually a pretty jacked up place to live, other than the weather.

Concur. Racial problems are always simmering, the most comprehensive gun registration laws in the nation, prices which choke the hell out of many residents, a huge division between rich and poor, lots of foreign-owned businesses that control affairs there.

I hear it's like living in a third-world country for folks who aren't engaged in the "power elite" or have a ton of money.
