There were never any White Castles near me in my small Michigan town but I did stop at one outside of Chicago one time. I don't actually remember all that much about it which probably tells me what I thought about it at the time...unmemorable! Perhaps if I had grown-up near one my opinion would be different. Now that I live near a larger city in South Carolina, I tried to stop at our local Krystal as I have been told they are almost a White Castle clone. No luck..........it was shut-down and out of business.
Growing up in SW Michigan, the 'olive burger' reigns supreme for many of the locals. We had a small local chain of burger places that made them to die for. But over the years all those burger stands eventually closed and the final one was sold and the new owner changed things so much that it was just never the same afterwards. I don't live there anymore but I have heard the new owner went out of business in just a few years.

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.
The 2nd amendment is not about hunting or shooting sports, it is about the citizens of this country having the means to protect themselves and the states from the tyranny, oppression, and misery of an over powering government. Modern rifles are a means for the citizens to stand up to an over powering government.
There are only two options as I see it.
Either I'm right, or there is a sinister
conspiracy to conceal the fact that I'm right.
I've got to stop looking at this thread, now I want sliders very badly. I have to go to the grocery store this morning and I will try to resist buying the frozen ones. Usually, if I even stop and think about them, I end up with a 6 pack. Enough for a lunch, but 10-12 is my usual load of them when they are fresh.
MMMM!! Belly bombers are the BEST!! Sadly we can't get them fresh here, only frozen in the market. When I go to see my kids (st.Louis area) we always stop in and get some. When I used to live down there, we would go for white castle runs and order them in the hundreds for our bowling league. I can eat about 6 to 8 of them, but my limit is under 10. I always ask for extra pickle on mine. I learned early on not to ever leave them or the empty boxes in a car. You'll NEVER get that smell out!!
Once more, I hit this thread. I hate to admit, I have eaten over 20 at a sitting, a couple of times. Included were a load of fries and of course, Pepsi. Last time I did that, I took a cooler to National Trail Raceway and put a load of the liquid filled "ice" plastic things in it and stopped near the track at WC to load up. I ate them cold about noon that day. On the way home, I hit LJS and ended a grease filled race day. The friend with me had LJS and was in pain, while the only reaction I had was getting sleepy. That guy can't even eat a Perch sandwich now without whining, "My gut is killing me!".
The closest White Castle is on my way to the sheriff's office. So every time I have to drop off paperwork, White Castle is my reward.

I am thinking about taking a nice motorcycle ride tomorrow. May swing by a White Castle! I'll take pics for y'alls enjoyment.

I was at a White Castle in Columbus Ohio, and I ordered some burgers; and they were pretty small, they looked like breakfast sandwiches, or something.
Um, I have been meaning to go to Chik-Fil-A for 2 months. So that is how important restaurants are to me, they aren't.
