    Sunset

This past Sunday I saw one of the best sunsets I have ever seen. Pictures do it no justice. This was near the end when I remembered to snap a picture.

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

The 2nd amendment is not about hunting or shooting sports, it is about the citizens of this country having the means to protect themselves and the states from the tyranny, oppression, and misery of an over powering government. Modern rifles are a means for the citizens to stand up to an over powering government.

Truly beautiful. The most beautiful sunset I ever saw was in Seattle. It was so incredible I couldn't even think about taking a picture, I was just awestuck and slack jawed staring for the little time it lasted.

Don't confuse the beauty of Seattle with the beauty of the people that live there (although there are some truly great people there). It's called the Emerald City for a reason and you would be hard pressed to find a more beautiful city and surroundings anywhere in this country. And I've traveled from coast to coast on more occasions than I care to count, so trust me on this one. There's not much of this country I haven't seen up close and personal, and Seattle will always have a special place in my heart for that very reason. A truly spectacular place if you're a fan of beautiful sights and nature. That sunset though, that was unlike anything I'd ever seen or even heard about and was truly a once in a lifetime event judging from all the people that were getting to rooftops or pulling over in the street or making their way as quickly as possible to the ocean front area when it happened. It was like seeing the Northern Lights wrapped up in a spectacular desert sunset. To this day I kick myself for not running back to my apartment so I could grab my camera and take photos.

    SHOWOFF!!!

We'd like to come down and enjoy your state, but we've had two trips cancelled because our governor has you on her naughty list.
