IQ is really a poor determinator of knowledge. All IQ does is indicates the ability to learn new material. If you either don't apply yourself or aren't given the opportunity to push the limits of what you know, that ability to learn atrophies. I've had my IQ tested twice and apparently it says I'm like soopershmert. I am also a natural test taker. that means I can walk into pretty much any exam and score at least 50-55% without even knowing the subject matter. That said, after college I really cut back on my educational studies and started retaining all sorts of trivial knowledge. When I talk with school kids or early 20 somethings, I can tell that they all lack that spark or even the ability to question. It's like looking at lions in the zoo. Their eyes are glazed over with this unsettling look of resignment. This is the form of idiot we are producing in massive numbers.
