    Yellow Jackets

The stinging insects not the .22 rounds.
Been having a problem controlling yellow jackets around the House, I've used a couple of different brands of wasp and hornet spray on them but it just seems to knock them off the nest and most get up and fly away.
The next day they're back with a new nest and sometimes even back on the same nest I sprayed the day before.
Saturday morning I was moving a garden cart behind the house and got hit 3 or 4 times when I touched a nest that was on lip of the cart.
What do You use for them that seems to be effective?
At this point I am about ready to load a tube of 8 shot in the 12 gauge and have at it.

On the farm we used to use gasoline. That would kill 'em rather quickly.

Yeah We used to do that too but the majority of the nests are on the House so I won't try going that route again.

Permethrin is what you want. It's a dust or powder. Ace Hardware carries it. You need to puff it in and around their nest... You want to do that after dark when they are in the nest and not active. You can buy one of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LRMN9ZM..._IMP-Eb2QE5GAE

or DIY it using one of those squeeze ketchup bottles and plastic tubing. It will kill them and any that return in a day or two.

I use the powder 7 dust, but lime mentioned above, do it at night. I fill a cup and just toss it on the best from a few feet away.

My wife uses Dawn dishwashing liquid. Seems to work pretty good.
I prefer spray paint and a bic lighter
