Well I didn't want to mow the lawn anyway..!!

Just been informed that, due to this damned Covid-19 virus, our local recycling centre has closed and will be for the foreseeable future..!! Just when I was going to tackle getting the grass cut. I've never bothered with the likes of composting bins etc, just bag it up and take to the recycling centre. Look now like I'll have to rethink things..!!

And, as of 19.00hrs tonight, our little Island is totally reliant on a ferry service as all flights into and out of the Island are halted..

Maybe you could bag it and sell it for people to use in Easter baskets, that's not too far off. If you see one of those ferrys, see if you can get me one of those magic wands......there are times I could really use one. I tried ordering a MW-18 (magic wand/18 inch) from my local parts stores......they said they're on at least a 6-month backorder. ...I'm still waitin' on the 5-gallon bucket of Jeep Fix and 55-gallon drum of Ford Remover I ordered 8 months ago.

I'm mowing the lawn tomorrow. First day it hasn't rained in two weeks. I have a mulching mower that just grinds everything up and deposits it back on the lawn for mulch. A little slow release 15-5-10 fertilizer and some beneficial nematodes and my lawn is lookin' like the 13th green at Augusta!!

You’d start a range war around here with sheep. They don’t leave tall enough grass for the beef to eat!

Beef and sheep could co-exist nicely if it weren’t for the humans. They actually eat different grasses, until the humans force over populations, therefore over grazing.

Tom, I have relatives living in Sweden where our ancestry traces back to Viking raiders of yore . Would you like me to see if they want to start raiding your little island again and maybe help out with that ferry transport thing?
