    Robert Conrad dead at 84

Rest in peace Robert ! You were a big part of my childhood, watching Wild Wild West and later, Ba Ba Black Sheep.

When Leonidas was preparing to make his stand, a Persian envoy arrived. The envoy explained to Leonidas the futility of trying to resist the advance of the huge Persian army and demanded that the Spartans lay down their arms. Leonidas told Xerxes "MOLON LABE", or "Come And Get Them."

Well, to be fair, I think he was 5 feet 7 inches or so. Kinda hard to be a Hollywood tough guy without an attitude when you're that tall.

He had a chip on his shoulder and a battery. LOL

I liked his acting rolls for the most part. That's two actors this week. You know the old saying, its comes in threes. Who is next?

And star of the show that perhaps had the best into music of all time. Always liked Robert Conrad.

    Orchestral version, Elmer Bernstein:

Can't recall the name but I saw him first in a show where he was a PI in Hawaii, though I think I liked him best in WWW. Also notable that he did his own stunts, even being inducted into the Stuntman HOF. I was a bit surprised to learn he started as a singer, even having recorded pop/rock songs in the '50s and '60s. All things considered, he was prob'ly the toughest and most truly badass actor to ever pass through Hollywood. They sure don't make 'em like that anymore......RIP, Mr. West.

My favorite show in my youth. RIP Mr. Conrad.

    The Ace and the Actor!

As you see you don't have to be 6 feet tall to be tough.
