Here's hoping for a couple of days of 35 degree weather. Just got back from the West Palm area and the Iguanas are running rampant. They are being shot and trapped by the hundreds. But most counties want them killed "humanely," which means no drowning. Can't use a powder gun, so high power/high velocity pellet guns are the choice. But they are hard to kill. A head shot just makes them run faster. Just behind the shoulder is usually the preferred shot placement. I saw a couple of 4 footers. Damn things take me back to my childhood night mares of the B monster movies.
