Another Roseanne Barr moment ??
Just an observation and an opinion-Boyz II Men should NEVER sing the National Anthem.
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.
I love my country, but I fear my government.

Not even close to Barr’s clowning.
I thought it was well done, just not mixed as well as it should have been considering the performers.
It just goes to tastes in music.
Most stereotypes come from how you treated the last person who didn't know you.

We will continue to make our republic the inspiration, the glory, and the envy of the rest of the world. As long as we are confident in our values, loyal to our citizens, and faithful to our God, there is no limit to what we can achieve. President Donald J. Trump, Feb 29, 2020.
A good national anthem singing should take about 2 minutes, 10 seconds, or so, and liberties should not be taken with the song in any way. I thought Whitney Houston's singing of the anthem at the Super Bowl back in the 90's was the absolute best ever.

When Leonidas was preparing to make his stand, a Persian envoy arrived. The envoy explained to Leonidas the futility of trying to resist the advance of the huge Persian army and demanded that the Spartans lay down their arms. Leonidas told Xerxes "MOLON LABE", or "Come And Get Them."

“…democratic socialism, the great utopia of the last few generations, is not only unachievable but that to strive for it produces something utterly different – the very destruction of freedom itself. As has been aptly said: ‘What has always made the state a hell on earth has been precisely that man has tried to make it his heaven.'” F.A. Hayek
I'd much prefer the anthem be played, rather than sung / butchered like is guaranteed when a "singer" takes the stage. USMC Band, or other service-band would be wonderful.
Someone always screws up the NA . When it's anyone but true Americans they will never sing it right . Especially when they think it's all about their own voice and not caring what is right . Soon as they started singing i changed channels until the first quarter started and when it got 20-0 and 49ers' leading i turn the TV off and got on my computer . I was only hoping GB would kick AZZ over SF . I'll watch the SB but i'll be rooting for the Chiefs !!
I went and watched it and I didn't have a problem with it. My favorite? No. But it wasn't disrespectful or anything. A bit stylistic but they aren't the only ones that have ever gone there.

Jimi Hendrix may have been the first to alter the national anthem, although not with vocals, but with his guitar solo at Woodstock. Created a stir back then.
All you need for happiness is a good gun, a good horse, and a good wife.
Texas friendly, spoken here.
Good harmony, but bad arrangement. The closer they stick to the real melody, the better. The Chiefs game had a better anthem.
