Freedom has cost the blood of millions in obscure places and in historic sites ranging from Gettysburg to the Gulag Archipelago . . .That something that cost so much in human lives should be surrendered piecemeal in exchange for visions and rhetoric seems grotesque. Freedom is not simply the right of intellectuals to circulate their merchandise. It is, above all, the right of ordinary people to find elbow room for themselves and a refuge from the rampaging presumptions of their ‘betters’.” Thomas Sowell

I wonder how much the original GM Hummer adventure cost the company?

    An all electric Hummer?
This will, no doubt, be a big seller in California, the land of entitled liberals!

I just don't ever see an electric car or truck entering my life. Well, maybe....no, not even then. Just ain't going to happen.

Same with me...I could see a CNG conversion with home compressor if there were serious tax credits to offset the initial capital expense. Convert one vehicle as a daily driver/commuter and keep the other as a gasser for road trips.

Meanwhile, no one else anywhere on the planet will want one.

I think it was back around 2016 +or- a year or two, that Ford began offering a CNG option package on some of their trucks. It may have been more of a fleet thing and not so much your everyday daily driver buyer option.

Why is it that retro style and names always come at a premium cost? I read an article that Ford admitted that they knew that the market was a limited niche market. It is designed to compete with the Jeep Wrangler, but not in a serious off road manner. It's not a rock climbing off road capable vehicle, nor is it built to handle aggressive off road driving. More image appeal that will offer top down/off wind in your hair utility vehicle if so ordered.

I am curious how proud some of the dealerships will be with "market demand" pricing.

    Or will you?

Off of I-35 near the town of Milford there is a Tesla Tower that has been built. Could the day of wireless charging of battery operated vehicles be in our future?

Yes, I know that it's not as simple as it sounds. And the practical use of a Tesla Tower transferring wireless electricity will not happen in my lifetime...I don't think anyway. But, it's fun to think about it.
