I am curious how proud some of the dealerships will be with "market demand" pricing.
Back with the original it was a great vehicle for either a single or couple with no children and was a universal truck that could be used for most anything and compact and very popular for ranchers to get around in . But popularity came when people started modifying it and putting oversized tires and lift kits on it for looks but it crossed over better to the off road clients . No it's no a rock climber but was a heck of great compact all terrain vehicle . It died out for a while but has become one of the most sought after popular vehicles for all reasons . I'll be curious as to how the return of it will be popular or not . Thing is it will be new , and exactly how it was in the beginning ! If i had the money to afford it i would be on the wait list now .

How many 4WD vehicles ever see dirt? 10% or less?

Yes, I know that it's not as simple as it sounds. And the practical use of a Tesla Tower transferring wireless electricity will not happen in my lifetime...I don't think anyway. But, it's fun to think about it.

If you run out of power on the back 40, just plug it into a current bush...

Are the used up batteries recyclable or will we be just introducing another toxic nightmare to our landfills?

I'd love to see one ford a river.

I would not have a problem with an electric truck as long
as it could pull a trailer loaded with my side by side ATV
    400 miles.

Otherwise I will stick to my V8.

Even the gas motor wouldn't drown out the noise, I'd think an electric would be about unbearable. Unless they've changed the design, those things develop a super annoying howl after you get above 40 mph, sounds like all the wheel bearings are shot. It's apparently caused by the wind hitting that blocky front of the body. The 1s are by far the worst but they all do it.

I live in New Mexico, second only to Alaska for the least population-per-square-mile. Get outside the Albuquerque metro area and there ain't nobody livin' nowhere for more miles than I can count. Yeah, I don't think any electric vehicle is really gonna catch on down here until someone perfects solar panel chargers on the roof.
