Then someone got the idea (probably from watching a political debate or turning on a news station) that people can easily be lied to so long as you make it entertaining and or prey on their bugaboos and this not only opened potential content, but also increased viewers. Imagine that... people would rather be fed crap and told it's the truth, then actually get the truth.
Make it a big lie, make it easily remembered (slogan), and tell it over and over.

    jonrjen and kschilk like this.
There are only two options as I see it.
Either I'm right, or there is a sinister
conspiracy to conceal the fact that I'm right.

That's what they really saw was a large man wearing hunter orange. The thermal image was the beans he had for dinner.

I just want to point out that BF is a TA member (I'm not going to tell you who he is) and so those of you who have signed the pledge may not eat him.

I'm sure that this wasn't your neighbor. This happened some 50 year ago. Strangely enough my sister and mom also saw him, but we never spoke about it until 30 plus years later. None of us wanted the others to think we had lost our mind.

I remember it as clear as the say I saw LULU Roman in her front yard in short jean cutoffs working in her flower bed in DeSoto, TX. And, yes it was also her, she lived a few houses down from my parents.
