On the anniversaries of major events in American history, I like to ask the youts (mid-20's) at work about the significance of the date. Of course, no one was aware that Nov 22 was the JFK assassination. I'll ask on Monday what significant even happened on Saturday. Odds are, they won't know, even with a few mentions of it in the media. They do know, however, when the release moment is for the next super-duper video game.

This is the generation that is more and more going to the polls to vote for our leaders. I don't see it turning out very well.

History is not being taught as it once was. Facts get in the way
of agenda's don't you know. Revisionist history is what they get now.

Although the history I learned was cleaned up a bit it was still what had
happened. I think un-abridged history should be taught without political
slants. Only additive should be the importance of liberty and true personal
freedom as it applies to American history.

The Japanese screwed up and in the end paid dearly. This was after many
    Americans paid dearly.

    Never Forget!

A wonderful photo that reminds us of a horrible day.

    Rest in peace, patriots.

There are "four boxes" that can be employed to resist the downfall of America, the ballot box, the soap box, the jury box and, lastly, the ammo box.

I was visiting my 92 year old Mom this morning and she still remembered hearing about the attack on O'ahu announced on the radio.

I don't think they even teach history in the public schools any more. To me that is a real shame, history is important and needs to be remembered.

Liberals hate history, how could they possibly get anyone to believe this is a horrible country if those people were aware of the bravery and exceptionalism displayed by so many of its citizens.
