I think the Marine's actions were PERFECT. Yes, he could have pummeled the antifa punk into mush. Yes, he could have let the shot connect risking injury to the "town crier" but Marines do not attack the weak. Catching the punch mid throw demonstrated the size of the can of whoopass jr was trying to open. The Marine politely pointed out to jr that he was so far out of his league that if hit, his great grandchildren would feel it. It was magnificently done.

I like the way the Marine handled it but watchin' a li'l game of hacky kid would've been a bit more entertaining.

Big guy might have kept hold of punk's fist, and SQUEEZED! Or made him kneel. Might have been a bit of lesson, but I agree, little fellow had no doubt in his mind that he was WAAAAY outclassed - - - in fighting tactics and in class.

Such people have a tendency to become drunk on violence, a condition to which they are quickly addicted. . . . . . . . . . . . .. — Frank Herbert, Chapterhouse: Dune

You will note that the punk's little buddies stopped closing in when that punch was caught.

I think that little boys should be raised watching Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee movies; at least that will know what macho is, and isn't.
And little boys love those movies anyway.

Little pile of feces tries to sucker punch a guy and gets shown just how weak he really is by a REAL man!
PRICELESS! I agree that the Marine should have hung on and bent junior's wrist back until he kneeled on the sidewalk and said he was sorry before letting him go home to mommy's basement.
