    Gren Sowerby leaned in to take a shot of the big cat when all of a sudden it showed him his pearly whites by letting out a massive roar. Sowerby continued snapping photos and was amazed when the lion flashed him a smile after giving him a fright.

    The car's painted like a zebra because it's in a safari park in Germany. It's a theme thing.

    I suppose they could have painted it like Howdy Doody, Buzz Lightyear, or a covered wagon, but that really wouldn't much fit the African wildlife concept very well, would it?

    Sometimes, you just gotta remind folks of who you are.

    Most of western society is too disassociated from the wild to realize that animals out there are... wild. As that sort of lessons go, her lesson was rather benign.

    I blame Disney. Lions aren't cartoon characters with the voice of James Earl Jones and bears don't sing and dance.
