I grew up in the 50's and 60's when there were coffee houses that served cups of coffee (regular or decaf) . I really started drinking coffee regularly in the military in 1972. No one even knew what Starbucks was back then.

Coffee contains coffee beans, water, and maybe sugar and cream, milk, or whitener. It's not a cup of coffee if it contains caramel, chocolate, whip cream, fruit flavors, or any other flavoring.

Kopi luwak is the best coffee. cheech and chong say Labrador is great weed. Starbucks combines both of these in one shop. I do not want to step in it.

No, it's called a latte or a frapuccino. "Coffetails" sounds like the grown-up's version of Veggie Tales.

I like mine hot, black and preferably in a cup.

Coffee has become the iphone of beverages, a growing number of people's lives revolve around it nowadays. Craft beer might be close behind. Myself......I don't see the point in drinkin' somethin' if ya' only like it when it tastes like somethin' else. If ya' want a soda......get a soda and ya' won't have to try to make your coffee taste like one.
