What bounty will the state pay for clubbing a python with a member of PETA? Asking for a friend.

Do they still have to take them alive and put them in a freezer or can they kill them out right? The snakes not PETA. Nobody cares about PETA.

Sadly, I don't see Florida getting much of an "extended freeze."

It is pretty much open season on private property with owners permission. The problem is most are now in the Everglades National Park and the rules there are not so friendly. I think the hired hunters are pretty much the only ones that can kill them there.

As the article stated the impact they have had on small mammals is not a joke, it is very rare o see a small mammal in the Everglades National Park these days. In the past we would see raccoons, squirrels, rabbits, and opossums everywhere, now we rarely even see signs of them let alone living animals.
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

The 2nd amendment is not about hunting or shooting sports, it is about the citizens of this country having the means to protect themselves and the states from the tyranny, oppression, and misery of an over powering government. Modern rifles are a means for the citizens to stand up to an over powering government.

Carry in National parks is still permitted. We should claim self defense as they are culled from the area.

"Guns are a lot like parachutes ~ If you need one and don't have one, you'll probably never need one again".

The problems we face today are there because the people

"No man who refuses to bear arms can give sound reason why he should be allowed to live in a free country" Teddy Roosevelt

Gun control is like trying to reduce drunk driving by making it tougher for sober people to own cars.

See......they hadn't been so hung up on that "build a better mouse trap" thing and made a few for snakes, we wouldn't be havin' these problems.

They need to just make it open season on the snakes and get rid of them.
