    1 out of 5 politicians “mis”identified as crooks? That may be an actual true number! If we civvies are subject to arrest or gun confiscation based on a computer error - well, shouldn’t the politicians we held accountable to proving their innocence.

    Not for long -- facial recognition will most likely get better ... a lot better. And other AI will continue to improve as well.

    That facial recognition software didn't make a mistake. IMHO ALL California lawmakers are criminals.

    I'd agree, that's about an 80% failure rate. It shold have recognized 4 in 5 California lawmakers as criminals for a 20% failure rate.
    Wealth is earned by the penny but squandered by the dollar.

    Never criticize a dumb question because you've probably asked your fair share. But more important to remember, it's much easier to correct a dumb question than it is to correct a dumb mistake.
