Link didn't work for me, but God bless those men. They are our brothers in arms.

Most know (but don't seem to care to remember) that we went over there to help y'all. Thanks for coming here to help us.

Woe be to those who desecrate that ground.

It was a nasty war all the way around and Bless those men that made the ultimate sacrifice to protect the US REGARDLESS of the flag they flew.

Very interesting. I've been to Ocracoke many times and never knew it was there. Next time I'll pay it a visit for sure.

We thank any country that helps us in WW II. Many countries men gave their lives in that effort.

Let us acknowledge that it was the USA, the arsenal of democracy, that pulled the irons out of the fire for the UK, France, Benelux, Scandinavian countries, the USSR and all of the other Pacific nations...including China. This debt is seldom acknowledged by these ingrates whose historical results would be far different than it's been since. They all used our men, munitions and equipment to beat back the Axis dictators.

The honors due and paid to those brave Brits are a reflection of our character as much as theirs.
“…democratic socialism, the great utopia of the last few generations, is not only unachievable but that to strive for it produces something utterly different – the very destruction of freedom itself. As has been aptly said: ‘What has always made the state a hell on earth has been precisely that man has tried to make it his heaven.'” F.A. Hayek

I knew there was a CG Station Ocracoke but I thought it was decommissioned and vacated in '96. Good to see the lads taking care of the final resting place of our allies who gave their all for freedom and liberty.
