    I'm surprised he wasn't shot.....
“confirmed the alligator is in the lagoon and state reptile specialists" said it was 4 to 5 feet long"

When people lose their way and begin to vote for their own yokes and chains and suddenly we’re all wearing them, when Government turns tyrannical and the light of liberty is being extinguished.... our 2nd amendment is our ONLY hope.

CPD has a new security system. The lagoon is secure.

The gator's safe, aren't guns illegal in Chicago?

I'm thinking it isn't long for that lagoon if the gang bangers start using it for target practice (or boots or handbags). I'm thinking we should have a big concert to raise money for relocation. But what would we call the event?

    Maybe GATOR AID???

I doubt it makes it through a Chicago winter.
Battle of Wanat: 10 years ago last 13 July, 1LT Brostram was killed in combat killing the last enemy combatant in the outpost. The LT went to the point of decision and made the difference that turned the tide of the battle. The original investigation found the Bde Cmdr, the Bn Cmdr and the Co Cmdr at fault for dereliction of duty. If you want to see what a sarcastic silver star citation reads like, pull up the company commander's silver star.

It won't. Somebody brought a pet home from Florida and it got too big.....it'll freeze to death in the winter.

You have to remember, we moved into the gators homes. Not the other way around. They were here first, maybe not in Chicago.

30y ago that gator would have been target practice. There has been a lot of gentrification in that neighborhood, and yuppies don't carry.

I can't believe people are hanging out watching for the gator. In the past, that many people gathered would have been a drive-by target.

Ain’t that how Fla became infested by large pythons and boas?

Absolutely, gutless yuppies buy a 'cool' pet, illegal as all get out, then when it becomes too big for their home, the turn the thing loose, instead of finding another home for it or offing it like a responsible person would
