“…democratic socialism, the great utopia of the last few generations, is not only unachievable but that to strive for it produces something utterly different – the very destruction of freedom itself. As has been aptly said: ‘What has always made the state a hell on earth has been precisely that man has tried to make it his heaven.'” F.A. Hayek

If they were only alive today, the stories they could tell. I bet they had a little magic box so could change the weather, hidden in their barn.

Is the family name hated in Kansas?
Why do you think I go by an alias on the Interwebs? [poster sniffles, choking back the emotion] I can't even show my face in public. I have to go buy fossil fuels for my gas guzzlers at night so I don't get pointed at and ridiculed. [poster breaks down in despair]

Then imagine those poor folks in Louisiana getting pelted with a short lived CAT 1 hurricane that in most times would not have amounted to anything other than no oysters until all the fresh water flushed out into the Gulf. But nooooo......all those people up north dumped all that water into the Mississippi River in the weeks before Barry (Obama), raising the water in the levis and behind the dams and floodgates to flood stage before Barry even arrives......now imagine if all those people up north had just flushed their commodes one less time, this tragedy could have been averted.

OMG, all this Democrap logic is making me throw up a little in the back of my throat.

Battle of Wanat: 10 years ago last 13 July, 1LT Brostram was killed in combat killing the last enemy combatant in the outpost. The LT went to the point of decision and made the difference that turned the tide of the battle. The original investigation found the Bde Cmdr, the Bn Cmdr and the Co Cmdr at fault for dereliction of duty. If you want to see what a sarcastic silver star citation reads like, pull up the company commander's silver star.

Well, according to my Dad when I was a kid, I was heating the entire world every time I held the door open for a few seconds while the furnace was on......so I suppose I'm the one to blame for global warming.

This tropical storm that they desperately want to be a hurricane is by far the worst climate disaster we have had since....yesterday.

Now that we know, it is our duty as comrades to report you to the authorities. I expect you to turn yourself in on Monday morning, or I will call the EPA, NSA, FBI, and UN to report your evildoings. This could go all the way to The Hague for crimes against humanity. (Hopefully you can have a computer in the gulag so you can still post on TA.)

LOL, now I want all of you people up north right now to go in every one of your many bathrooms and put a brick in each toilet tank and help save those poor deplorables in Louisiana from Barry (Obama)....and we know that right behind Barry will be a CAT IV named Michele.

Good news to all my Liberal friends, the last flight with the rest of the rescue animals has departed Louisiana, so no poor abandoned pooches will drown as a result of your terrible lack of respect for your brothers and sisters down stream.

So if I put a brick in my toilet, does that mean it is built like a brick toilet house?

I think that is the best analogy on global warming that I've seen. I think that we are in the "flat earth stage" of understanding the global climate but that doesn't stop "scientists" from expounding their theories when they have very little factual knowledge to base it on.
