Wow- near 30 degree temp drop last night!

We had 99 yesterday- with a few stations reporting 100, 101. Then a storm blew in, and this morn the temp is a cooool 71.
I have my windows open- probably not for long though.

I think we have been at 100 or above just a couple times so far this year. We're seeing temps in the low 90s and lows in the low 70s and upper 60s. Also been wet so far for a change. I've enjoyed it, but it's probably about to change. We are semi-arid in this part of the country.

We are flirting with the 90's for the first time this year. The Springtime was protracted and wet and I liked it! With temp changes like the OP posts, that's tailor made for big storms. Our front through yesterday broke down a lot due to the cooler Lake Michigan. We won't get that lucky in the next few days.

A good monsoon thunderstorm here in Phoenix can bring the temperature down 30 to 40 degrees depending on length of the storm. Seen it happen many times. And, those storms, despite possible damage, are a welcome sight when it is 110 degrees outside with dew points in the 60 degree plus range.

One warm and sunny autumn day while I was in Norfolk, the temp dropped from 76F to 42F in less than two minutes.....went to work in shorts and a t-shirt but came home in heavy coveralls and a coat.

So....? where do you shoot over there? Do you go to Styx River or some indoor range?
I usually go to Gunport down in Coden- its fairly close, and not usually crowded in the mornings.

Well it was 68 over here in Gautier/Pascagoula this morning as well. We didn't get the rain. It was just west of me by less than a mile. Flooded with heavy rain all the way to Gulfport. You guys in LA (lower Alabama) got rain as well. My grass is brown and tomatoes burn up. It has rained all around me all month. With in a few blocks but nothing on my poor plants!
