Well sonny. It's this a way. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q...8921&FORM=VIRE I was in scouting when https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q...6A5B&FORM=VIRE Factually I was in 8th grade as well as some of you others were.

As the fig said to the tree," Dates all folks!". I was going to say I watched paint hanging, but that would be Gallo's brothers humor. Not gallows humor. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E_%26_J_Gallo_Winery

Me, too. Mine was #3. But I was already in the Navy's aviation electronics schools command at NAS Memphis.

It is a small world...I have been thru Butler a few times....on my Honda 305 Dream. A good friend had a girl friend in Sweet water. He and I would go to Sweet Water pick her and sometimes one of her girlfriends up and go out to some reservoir on the weekends.

LOL even smaller...I traded my 305 dream in on a DT1 Yamaha 250 Enduro

I didn't know anything about Meridian, MS back then, except what I've read. I joined the Navy in 1971, but in July 1988 I ended up there as the Air Operations LCPO. I still saw a lot of the old "southern hate" and traditions that have no place in any sociaty. I understand, if I had been a young airman at the time I would have hated it also, but as one of the senior enlisted on base it wasn't too bad for me or my family, and I felt I was able to do something good every now and then.

In my senior year at Texas A&M University close to being commissioned as an Army Armor Officer. It all happened in January 1970.
