Red Raiders Going to the College World Series

It was an ugly 3 game series between the Okie State Cowboys and the Red Raiders.

They are two very evenly matched teams with just a little edge to the Red Raiders.

Ever since 7 of the Red Raider power players signed pro contracts, and I'm talking players all hitting above .300, none of them have hit worth a darn, and most of our offense has come from the bottom of the batting order.

Gabe Holt, with a .340 batting average and leading the Big 12 in stolen bases, broke a hand sliding in to a base last night, and our lead off batter didn't get to play tonight.

Anyhow, I think this is our fourth trip to Omaha. Hopefully, Michigan can beat UCLA tonight.

I was given tickets to last night's game, and to tonight's game and took the wife, who really enjoys watching baseball, and is also a Red Raider fan.

I Grew up in Fullerton, CA. when CSUF was CWS Champs a few years running. Augie Garrido was coach and coached and a number of his players went on to MLB careers. He eventually went on to coach Texas to the CWS Championship.

Tech has really put together some great teams over the last few years. Basketball, baseball, and Tech football has always been fun to watch.. Kirby Hocutt seems to be doing one heckuva' job.

    Wreck em' Tech! Guns Up!!
