Weather man: It's going to be a beautiful spring day, a little warm, slight breeze. Enjoy your day.

    Be safe yall.

Mom and Dad were horse lovers and riders before I was born. They had me in a saddle before I could walk. I've always had a cowboy hat of one kind or another in the closet for all of my 60+ years. And in all that time, that's the first I ever heard that the retaining cord is called a stampede string. Thanks, Smoke!

Geeze. I thought everyone had at least one hat rigged with a stampede string and knew what it was for.

Oh, I've had hats with 'em and always knew what they was for, just didn't know what they were called.

Back on the subject of severe weather, I mentioned a good rainfall yesterday evening a few posts back. Well, less than 24 hours after rain, we've had quite a sandstorm going on all day today. Literally, West Texas weather, has a little something for everyone! And you don't have to wait long for the change.

Tornado missed my employer in Zebulon, N. Carolina by a couple hundred yards just a couple weeks ago.

I should be good for a while.

    F-150

    F-5

I think the F-5 would be more fun, but then I'm an Air Force veteran.
