Never been on TV for ads, been on for some other things ( choir performances, gospel guitar stuff, etc... ). However Back in the 70's I produced bunches of radio commercials for KFDI, so just my melodius voice selling this or that, along with a bunch of community service ads. SO if you were driving a 18 wheeler or a tractor around central US in the early 70's, and it was late at night - you probably heard me. Oh by the way you kids made a great commercial!
Hey, I listen to KFDI for traffic reports most days on the way to and from work. Well, not really KFDI, but their remote broadcast pickup. I bet it is quite a bit different today than it was back then!
Only time I was on tv was when I arrested a tv news reporter for misconduct at an emergency, this was after she walked into the a restricted area the third time and the Chief Deputy told me to "arrest that brassy blonde". The tv station gave us a little bad press, seems they thought they could go wherever they wanted, this was at a train derailment and there was a leaking tank car.
Sounds like the reporter in another thread on this board who thinks his reporter status allows him to traffic in stolen property.
