From the article: One shooter was 18 and had a weapon in a guitar case.

And I did not intentionally ignore the sacrifice of Riley Howell in the Charlotte shooting last week. Also an aspiring military man.

Truly, I am tired of this. Tired of seeing the carnage, the pain, the loss of innocence. These people are terrorist and should be treated as such. I am serious, I do not want to know their motivation, their Cause, their sad, sad, story, Execute them on the spot. These are not people that deserve to be in our society!

Rush may have stated it but I did state it right after James Holmes went on his rampage in the theater. The next one is already out there living amongst us, undetected, in plain sight.

Already the Anti's are crying for more gun control, more restrictions. Well people there were more than 1/2 dozen laws that were broken yesterday that are already on the books so why didn't that prevent this? It is not the gun that is the problem. It is not the lack of law that is the problem. It is the Human Being that is the problem. Are we going to eliminate that too?

Just another couple of ignorant shooters. Probably didn't realize they were in a gun free zone. Oh wait, maybe they did realize they were in a gun free zone.

You know we are whacked when the media "celebrates" the 20 year anniversary of Columbine.

If they would stop mentioning Columbine, like they told us to stop mentioning 9-11 maybe, just maybe the copy cats would go away.

    What is it about Colorado?
Why are so many of these shootings happening there?
A much greater percentage than other states.
Is there something in the water?

Ted Nugent said it: the knee-jerk reaction to make more restrictive gun laws when something like this happens is “They want to castrate me because my neighbors have too many kids”. A good analogy...

Sad part is that incidents such as these reflect poorly on each and every lawful gun owner. Each one adds another cry for complete confiscation because it is viewed as a senseless death, which it is.

First, I was able to surf the 18Y/O facebook before it was scrubbed. I wont comment on what I saw there outside to say that this kid was not grounded in reality. They say that these kids were not on any radar screens. After FB stalking the 18Y/O early this morning, I have to wonder why not. I believe the answer is that someone like myself, NRA, hunter, gun owner, is much more likely to make the list than someone who is artsy and more than a bit dark minded. People are convinced that the rabbit is the threat while we ignore the wolf. The problem is in the hearts and minds of these young kids. Not to stir up politics, but when there is zero sanctity of life, what do we expect.

I do not know how to express my sorry and concern for those poor souls that were innocent victims. This shouldn't be happening, there is no excuse. This is not a political right or left, up or down issue. This is a societal issue were we as a society are failing. We refuse to face the underlying issues and what it is that is driving these people to act this way. It's not guns, guns have been present long before this escalated to this point.

I had grown up in a pretty suburban area between Chicago and Milwaukee. I have been getting the local TV news reports from both my whole life and even while my children were still in school I never heard of a school shooting. It just didn't happen. So don't try to tell me that kids and guns have gotten more extremely dangerous in just the last 20 years. I refuse to believe that but something has happened.
